The National Memorial Arboretum is now open for pre-booked visitors only. In order to prioritise the safety and wellbeing of our visitors and team members, there is a limited capacity on site, booking will be required, queuing systems, and one way pathways through the Remembrance Centre and Heroes’ Square. Additional measures are in place, including hygiene screens and extra cleaning.

From Saturday 1 August we will be opening our main restaurant to visitors between 12noon and 4pm for pre-booked dining. We have a smaller capacity than normal due to social distancing, so please ensure you speak to our foodservices team to book your table as your arrive at the Arboretum, if you would like to dine inside. We are unable to take bookings in advance of your visit. Our current carry out offer, including breakfast snacks from 10am, will still be available with seating provided in Heroes’ Square. Our event building, Aspects, will also be offering hot drinks and treats from 11am each day. The BBQ service will finish on Friday 31 July.

The Arboretum shop is also open. The Land Train is operating a limited service, but other daily activities, including guided walks and talks will not take place until further notice. Toilet facilities in the Remembrance Centre will be open.

Bookings must be made on line and only visitors pre-booking a vehicle will be granted access to site. Further information and details on how to book can be found here.

VJ Day Notice: Please note the FEPOW Memorial Building and Far East Area of the Arboretum will be inaccessible to the public from 9am Friday 14 August to 3pm Saturday 15 August.
